Oral cancer is on the rise in North America, and not only for those in our population who smoke or use tobacco products. Similar to cervical cancer, Human Papillomavirus (HPV) has been linked and associated with the increase in oral cancers.
Although we are not screening for HPV specifically, at Dr. Sunny Tatra’s clinic we include free oral cancer screening with the “Identafi” to all our patients willing to be screened, as part of their yearly dental check-up.

We are pleased to announce the grand opening of Dr. Tatra’s new clinic will be on Monday, August 18th! Located at 905 Gordon Street, just 1.5 blocks from his old clinic, Dr. Tatra will be able to better serve his clients in a brand new latex-free facility with the most modern digital imaging technology and equipment. Maintaining his client-centered approach to dental care, Dr. Tatra has designed the bright and spacious new clinic to give you access to state of the art dental service and technology, including the latest in diagnostic and sterilization technologies, massaging chairs, and faster access to care in case of dental emergencies.
Dr. Tatra is pleased to have his team moving to the new location with him. You will still be seeing Aileen at reception, Rachelle and Vanessa for your hygiene and Stacie as your Certified Dental Assistant. We are grateful for your support in making us what we are today and we have taken this rather significant step with the desire to create an even happier and healthier environment to serve you better.
